2007 Superior Yunnan Black

Superior Yunnan Black

This exquisite tea appears almost gold because of the very high percentage of golden tips present, which are only produced in the first Spring picking. The beverage of this tea is a superb burnished gold in colour - a rich, smooth "malty" tea with a firm astringent finish.

PREPARATION: To prepare Superior Yunnan Black tea we recommend either a regular teapot or individual steeping cups. Allow approximately one teaspoon of leaf per person and very hot, but less than boiling water [90°-95°C (194°-203°F)]. Infuse for 1 to 3 minutes depending on desired strength. Superior Yunnan Black may be resteeped 10-20 times.
