| Xiao Fa Pu-erh Tuocha was produced by the Xiaguan Tea Factory according to the original recipe that was first sent to France in the 1960's. The tea is marked by shape of a bowl, uniform compactness, dark-red luster, bright-red liquor, mellow mild taste and matured scent. Modern medical science has shown that Yunnan Pu-erh Tuocha may help to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. The tea was traditionally used by herbalists to help promote balanced health and the digestion of fat. It is a delicious, mild-tasting, beneficial Pu-erh tea.
PREPARATION: To prepare Pu-erh tea from Tuocha, it is best to use a strong knife to carefully pry out the desired amount leaves and place in a teapot. Rinse by covering with boiling water and quickly pour off. Cover with boiling water again and let steep 5-30 seconds (depending on how light or dark you want the tea) and serve. Pu-erh tea can be steeped 10-20 times.
