This is a special green tea, processed by hand with a single shoot of high quality tea, wither the leaf and kill the enzyme, then use tiny sticks of fresh bamboo to curl and shape and dry the tea. The tea is delicate and light. Shades of green create a enjoyably astringent flavor. Watch these rings open and extend as the water unlocks their flavor.
PREPARATION: To prepare Girl Rings we recommend either a regular teapot or individual steeping cups. Allow 1 to 2 tsp. of tea leaves per serving. Cover with water no hotter than 70°C, (158°F) and allow to steep for 2 to 3 minutes depending on desired strength. Girl Rings generally may be resteeped 2-3 times.
